Our first-team squad represents Newbery Athletic in the top flight of the Liga Marplatense de Fútbol. With high-performance training and a focus on constant progress, we aim to compete at the highest level while strengthening commitment, identity and pride in our colours.
We take part in the Preliga Marplatense with youth sides in 11-a-side football (2010-2011, 2012-2013 and 2014-2015) and 9-a-side football (2016-2017 and 2018-2019), encouraging learning, sporting development and enjoyment of the game from an early age.
For boys and girls aged 4 to 15, offering a place to learn, have fun and grow as athletes. Through age-appropriate activities we build the fundamentals of football, teamwork and a love for the sport.
Every summer, Newbery Athletic plays the Super Seven Mar del Plata with its Newbery Seven side, competing alongside leading players and teams from across the country. Our presence at this prestigious tournament reflects the club's commitment to high-performance sport and competitive excellence.
Our annual league brings together more than 100 teams across women's 7-a-side and men's 8-a-side and 11-a-side football. A competition played out all year long with passion, commitment and sporting spirit.

Over the years, elite athletes have chosen our grounds to train and run pre-seasons during their stays in Mar del Plata. The quality of our facilities and the standard of our playing surfaces have made us a reference point for high-performance athletes.
Among those who have trusted Newbery Athletic are Matías Soulé, Lucas Martínez Quarta, Pablo Solari, Marcos Moneta and the Pumas Seven, Matías Catalán, Nicolás Blandi and Dylan Gissi, among other professionals who have chosen our facilities to keep up their training.
Our grounds are also chosen by clubs from the top flight of Argentine football for training, camps and pre-seasons. The quality of our pitches, the infrastructure and the working environment make Newbery Athletic an ideal base for high-performance squads.
The clubs that have trusted our facilities include Club Atlético Platense and Club Atlético Barracas Central. Platense ran its pre-season at our complex in the year it was crowned Torneo Apertura champion, and still chooses Newbery Athletic as the base for its preparation.
Located in the south of Mar del Plata, Newbery Athletic has a top-tier sports complex designed to offer the best possible conditions for training and competition. We have seven professional 11-a-side pitches plus a FIFA-standard synthetic turf pitch.
